Whether you feel called to serve guests in our Food Pantry, help shoppers find hidden gems in our Thrift Store, or keep things running smoothly behind the scenes through administrative support, there is a meaningful role here for you.
You'll work alongside a passionate team of like-minded people who share your heart for serving others, and you'll do it in an environment full of purpose and joy. The hardships our guests face may be temporary, but the encouragement you offer can be lasting — and at the end of each day, you'll know it, in the smiles, the grateful tears, and the heartfelt thanks of the people you've helped. All Storehouse staff members are volunteers! Every position is covered by someone willingly giving their time, energy and skills to support their community
Thrift Store
There is a room where all the donated items are brought. We sort, price, and send out for display. The floor support people display, assist shoppers and ring up sales. It’s hard to not shop while you serve.
Administrative
Someone has to keep this website up. The bills have to be paid. Appointments have to be made. People need to be called on the phone. There is always some paperwork. The grass and shrubs need tended. There is always something else to do.
Food Pantry
Assist shoppers with selecting their groceries. Bag or box groceries and take them to guests vehicles. Restock shelves. Keep the area clean. Unload supply trucks and receive donated food. Bonus: Offer food preparation advice.
