What We Do
• Provide year-round food pantry serving 150-250 Mills County families each month.
• Coordinate seasonal assistance programs including Operation Santa and Thanksgiving food support
• Partner with Mills County schools and local service agencies to identify families in need
• Provide limited emergency assistance with clothing and essential household items when needed
• Collect and resell gently used clothing, accessories, books, games, and home goods to generate revenue that directly supports food pantry operations
Need Assistance?
Mills County Storehouse provides food assistance to residents of Mills County, Iowa. Households may receive a week’s worth of groceries once per month to help supplement food and basic hygiene needs.
In addition to regular pantry services, Mills County Storehouse may offer emergency pantry assistance on a limited basis when urgent needs arise.
